At Willis ISD, the safety of our students and staff is always our top priority. As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance security, we have installed video camera systems at the front entrances of all campuses. This new measure adds another layer of protection to ensure a secure learning environment.

Willis Independent School District is now accepting applications for its Long-Range Planning Committee (LRPC), a community-based group that will help shape the District’s long-term facilities and planning priorities.

Willis ISD is proud to announce that Superintendent Dr. James has successfully completed the 18-month Superintendent Leadership Program at The Holdsworth Center, a highly regarded professional learning experience designed to strengthen and sustain exceptional leadership in public education.

At their November meeting, the Willis ISD Board of Trustees approved Ruth Castleschouldt as the official namesake for Elementary #7. The school is located at 8150 MP Clark Road in Conroe and scheduled to open in August 2026.
