Welcome to first grade! Ms. Griffith graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Applied Learning and Development for Elementary Education. She grew up in Willis and now teaches at Meador Elementary. Go Wildkats! She looks forward to a great year of learning!

This week in reading, we will discuss various genres.
 
Our story this week, "I Can Too" is a rhyming story.
In a rhyming story some of the words end with the same sound.
We will use a sequence chart to help the students retell the story.
