Hello Wildkats! I am so excited to be back teaching music at Meador this year and with the new name, Mrs. Weeks! A few things about me- I graduated from The University of Houston with a degree in music education and performed with the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps in 2007 and 2009. I have performed and have experience in many different ensembles including choir, opera, percussion ensemble, orchestra, wind ensemble, marching band, and musical theater. I play percussion at Woodlands Church on the weekends and play piano at home for enjoyment. I love music and love children, so I have the best of both worlds here at Meador. I am very excited for this year and I know we will have a great time in music. Go Wildkats!

Honor Choir

This year's 5th grade honor choir has been selected!  I am so excited to get things started with this wonderful group of students!  They sounded amazing in their auditions last week!  This year there are 49 talented musicians in this group.  We have many performance opportunities coming up including performances at the Fall Festival and Grandparent's Day/Veteran Day fourth grade program.  Our first rehearsal will be Wednesday Oct. 2 at 7:30 a.m. in the music room.  I cannot wait for us to meet together as a choir for the first time!
