Hello Wildkats! I am so excited to be back teaching music at Meador this year and with the new name, Mrs. Weeks! A few things about me- I graduated from The University of Houston with a degree in music education and performed with the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps in 2007 and 2009. I have performed and have experience in many different ensembles including choir, opera, percussion ensemble, orchestra, wind ensemble, marching band, and musical theater. I play percussion at Woodlands Church on the weekends and play piano at home for enjoyment. I love music and love children, so I have the best of both worlds here at Meador. I am very excited for this year and I know we will have a great time in music. Go Wildkats!

Parents- If you would like to volunteer for field day, and already have a background check on file, then please contact Coach Brown to sign up (see email below).  You can either volunteer for a full day or for a half day.  If you would like to volunteer for a half day then you have the option of spending the other half of the day with your child at Field Day.

This is a reminder that we are collecting soda tabs!  Bring them to music class for stamps and prizes.
Mrs. Seith's father is working on making the worlds longest soda tab chain.  After he completes his chain, the tabs will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.  They will have the tabs cleaned and processed to be turned into needles for the Ronald McDonald Children's Hospitals.
Every tab counts!
Thank you to all Honor Choir members for doing such a great job preparing for your concert and for putting on such a wonderful performance.  It was such a special treat for everyone that was able to watch and listen!  Thanks again!
