Welcome! / ¡Bienvenidos!

First of all, Mrs. Davila wants to express to you that it is a joy teaching your precious children! She comes to work with a smile on her face every day as she looks forward to the special moments the day will bring. She loves her job and the 2016-2017 school year marks her sixth year as a teacher!

Mrs. Davila graduated from Sam Houston State University in May 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Bilingual Generalist Early Childhood through Sixth grade. Mrs. Davila is bilingual in Spanish and English. She is originally from Brownsville, Texas. This is also the sixth year she has been teaching at Meador Elementary. Mrs. Davila taught third grade bilingual her first year, second grade dual language (Spanish component) her second year, second grade bilingual her third year, third grade bilingual her fourth and fifth year, and she is currently teaching third grade bilingual for her sixth year. Mrs. Davila has been a sponsor for the Robotics Club and Spanish Club.

In her spare time, Mrs. Davila enjoys scrapbooking, baking, shopping, organizing, cleaning, and catching up on her favorite television shows. She attends women’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and self-defense classes three times a week and works out the other days. More than anything, she loves to sing, dance, travel, and tries to visit her parents as often as she can.
