American Hero Essay Contest Luncheon May 7, 2015 ~ In March, fourth grade students participated in the Lake Conroe Area Republican Women My American Hero Essay Contest. Students worked extremely hard to write their essays and the judges had a very difficult time narrowing down the selections.

First, second, third place and the Special Award students attended a luncheon in their honor today sponsored by the LCARW at Walden Yacht Club.

A "great job" to all students who participated as well as a congratulations to those who received recognition and to the teachers who helped the students hone their writing skills this year.

Meador looks forward to the many great things from these young writers.
